WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Data Analyst at AVI-SPL, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business process improvements and deliver successful projects. Your role includes documenting processes, developing reports, performing data analysis, and drive business improvements in assigned function. You will work closely with stakeholders to define scalable and extendable solutions that align with the company’s goals of process simplification and automation. Additionally, you will apply your technical and business expertise to recommend strategic solutions and train the organization on best practices and processes.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
• Lead reviews of business processes and create strategies for optimization and efficiency.
• Gather and analyze requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Document, communicate, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to implement solutions.
• Manage projects, track progress, and ensure successful outcomes.
• Perform user acceptance testing to validate system functionality.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Develop and maintain detailed reports to track project performance and business outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements to recommend innovative solutions.
• Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves:

• Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, IT, or related field (work experience may be considered in lieu of education).
• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, including elicitation, modeling, and verification.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Experience using data tools (e.g., PBI, MS Project, SQL, Python or similar tools).
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to produce detailed reports and presentations.
• English is a must.

Nice-To-Haves:

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
• Green Belt/Black Belt certification in process improvement is a plus.
• Telecom or Technology industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with SOX compliance and familiarity with eTOM and ITIL frameworks is a plus.
